I think it's fair to say that this is just a darling classic.

God, I find it hard to believe this came out 7 years ago. I remember when it first came out and played it on my laptop.

Clever game, but I still don't know how you would expect people to get some of the answers on their own on certain questions. Take the first puzzle for example, I mean do you really expect someone to answer "this obscure profession" that is irrelevant in today's society. But you read through it you see certain key words and can make the connection so It fits.

Then you go to the second puzzle "reflections" and this one really had me stumped. After spending an hour and a half banging my head against the wall, I gave in and decided to look up a walkthrough for that one answer. And when I found the answer I said to myself "Wait what? Huh?". I read through the text again and tried to find a connection and I couldn't, I mean how?. I guess it fits with the mastermind behind the puzzle, but you don't know why you're chasing this man until he describes who he is and why he does what he does.

The only puzzle I can see someone figuring out on their own is the riddle. It's even more obvious once you know who you're chasing but I digress. Clever game, but don't expect anyone to figure it out on their own on certain puzzles.

Thanks a lot for playing and reviewing!

That said, I think you've gotten a few things horribly wrong about what the game is. You have been playing it as a guessing game, which explains why the game seems so difficult to you. You must've used a walkthrough that only gave you answers, but no reasons. Honestly, you would've been better of reading the earlier reviews than looking up the solutions; make no mistake, the letters are puzzles, not riddles, apart from the one that you understood. Not only do the earlier reviews reveal that they like the difficulty, but that most people have indeed managed to find the solutions to the puzzles by themselves (and I've been very happy to notice that they've enjoyed the sense of reward from that), but they also occasionally reveal hints for the puzzles, for good and for bad :3

These are word games my friend, not guesses. The title of the game itself is a word game, actually. I urge you to play the game yourself, but this time, do it by yourself! Don't guess the answer like you did on the first puzzle; this time, solve it! When you solve the first puzzle, all will be clear to you, and it will make no matter that the "obscure profession" that I'm sorry to break to you still exists very much so in this day still, is not the first thing that would come to your mind, as by solving the puzzle, you will come to realize that the word could be anything -even not a profession- and the level would still be very solvable :D

If you do play the game again, please PM me for hints if you wish to understand more of the logic behind the game ;)

Thanks for leaving such a high score, despite your troubles with the game!!!

It would've been nice If I played this on halloween, so i'm late to the party. Overall great came.

Better late than never! Thanks! :)

This game is a serious time killer. Like the music too.

It's not bad, but it's a Fruit Ninja rip off, just with stick figures.

OMG! AHHHHHHHHHHHH
Terminal Montage i like the idea how you made the console look like a tentacle monster

why cant i control the camera?

in my opinion i think you would've added flashbacks to the story say for example a reason why that guy killed you're family
